Landlords Paul and Julie Richmond have many years experience of the hospitality world. They worked at three local hostelries before leaving the UK to work in Spain where Julie managed a restaurant for many years and Paul worked in two bars in the Pueblo.
Their passion is to serve good quality seasonal food, excellent cask ales and fine wines in a warm and convivial atmosphere. They believe that they should be at the core of their business and to accomplish this they work alongside their staff as part of the team making sure their quality standards are adhered too.
In The Kitchen
The Oak’s Head Chef Chris is very well known in the the area having many years experience working for a number of local pubs and restaurants. He is known for his good, wholesome food and his ability to adapt menus to the different requirements of the ‘Oak’ and its customers.
